The committee sets the strategic direction of the Foundation and is comprised only of Strategic Partner company representatives. Subject to oversight by the Board of Directors (BOD), this committee shall research and recommend areas of strategic opportunity for the Corporation operations to the BODs, staff and members. These recommendations should optimize resources in support of Corporation symposia, outreach and sponsorship programs with management and operational resources.

Within the Strategic Committee, these are four subordinate committees that are responsible for specific parts of the execution of the strategic direction. These include the Planning, Technical, Outreach and Academic Committees.
