Masback Named USGIF President
Keith J. Masback has been named president of USGIF. He succeeds K. Stuart Shea, who was selected by the board of directors to serve as chief executive officer and continue in his role as the chairman of the board.

Jill Smith and Matt O'Connell Join USGIF's Board of Directors
DigitalGlobe CEO Jill Smith and GeoEye President and CEO Matt O'Connell were elected new members of the USGIF Board of Directors at the board's annual meeting on February 20. Jack Dangermond and Michael F. Goodchild completed their board terms and were elected the status of emeritus directors.

USGIF Accredits Universities under First-Ever Geospatial Intelligence Accreditation and Certificate Program
Three national universities have received accreditation for their geospatial intelligence programs by the USGIF Academy. The University of Missouri at Columbia, Pennsylvania State University and George Mason University became the first schools to be accredited under this program, the first and only of its kind.

USGIF Seeks Academic Director
