Allder Golf Classic

Allder Golf Classic

The Allder Golf Classic is considered the “unofficial” start of the annual GEOINT Symposium. The event is a great way for community leaders to not only gather for what promises to be a great day of networking and golfing, but to also contribute to the future of the tradecraft.

Named in honor of the late William R. Allder Jr., the Allder Golf Classic raises money for the USGIF Scholarship Program. Over the past two years, more than $40,000 has been generated by the event and awarded to outstanding students studying the geospatial discipline.

The 2006 Allder Golf Classic was held on at the Falcon’s Fire Golf Club in Orlando, Florida—a Rees Jones Signature Masterpiece, rated four stars by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play.” The 2007 Allder Golf Classic will be at the Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. A golfer's challenge in every sense of the word, Canyon Springs features no parallel holes, numerous natural hazards, well-positioned bunkers and centuries-old Live Oak trees that add a touch of guesswork to your game.
