Q. What is TECH DAYS?

A. TECH DAYS is an annual technology exhibit event produced in cooperation with USGIF and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The event is composed of a full day of classified NGA technology demonstrations and a full day of unclassified technology demonstrations showcasing USGIF Member and government partner technologies. It is an event that, unlike our GEOINT Symposium, allows users and vendors to interact in a low-cost, technology-focused venue that does not compete with keynote speakers or panel discussions. The event concludes with the GEOGala black-tie dinner event.

Q. What is the cost to attend TECH DAYS?

A. TECH DAYS is free to attend.

Q. How do I register for the NGA Technology Day?

A. The classified session is SI//TK and held at NGA headquarters in Bethesda. Proper clearances must be sent to NGA BET no later than May 6. Faxes should reference Tech Days and be sent via fax to either 301-227-7660 (classified) or 301-227-3170 (unclassified).

Q. How do I register for the USGIF Technology Day?

A. There is no pre-registration for this event. Attendees will be required to complete a basic registration form with their contact information accompanied by a photo id to be badged for entry.

Q. Do I need clearance for the USGIF Technology Day?

A. No, the USGIF Technology Day is unclassified.

Q. What is the dress code for TECH DAYS?

A. Dress for the day events is business attire. Military personnel may wear the prescribed dress of the day. The GEOGala event is a formal black-tie dinner event.

Q. Will there be transportation provided for the NGA workforce?

A. Busses will run from the Navy Yard to Bethesda on Wednesday and from Navy Yard to the Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner on Thursday. A bus schedule will be posted to the USGIF website closer to the event date.

Q. Who can exhibit at the USGIF Technology Day?

A. Exhibit opportunities are available to USGIF members only.  There are only 44 booth opportunities available and sales are offered in order of membership priority point standing.

Q. My company is not a member, but we would like to exhibit. Who should I contact?

Q. How do I sponsor a GEOGala table?

Q. Who will be seated at the table with my company?

A.  USGIF will seat two government invitees (plus their guests) at tables purchased by USGIF Members.
